As one of the first 'wide body' motor yachts, Elena welcomed the challenge of designing this to overcome limitations that are present in other yacht layouts. By designing the boat with a mezzanine it created the perception of space and light which some models can lack. She made it possible to stand at one end of the vessel and see across to the other to give the illusion of an exaggerated length. From Elena's design 40 yachts were produced each year over a 4 year period.
